ANNOUNCEMENT
The Department of Registrar of Companies and Official Receiver wants to bring to the attention of any interested person that applications are invited for the selection of Members of the Standards Advice Review Group established pursuant to the Commission Decision 2006/505/EC of the 14 July, 2006.
The task of the Group is to advise the commission in the context of the endorsement process of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and International Financial Reporting Committee Interpretations (IFRICs).

Dear Sir, Madam,
I would like to inform you that the Commission has published the call for applications for the selection of members of the Standards Advice Review Group established pursuant to the Commission Decision 2006/505/EC of 14 July 2006 (OJ L 199, 21.7.2006, p. 33).
The task of the Group is to advise the Commission in the context of the endorsement process of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and International Financial Reporting Committee Interpretations (IFRICs). It will assess whether EFRAG's opinions to the Commission on endorsement of IFRS and IFRICs are well-balanced and objective.
The Group shall be composed of a maximum of seven members appointed by the Commission from independent experts in the accounting area and high level representatives from the National Standard Setters of Member States.
