Submision of applications by enterprises and organisations involved in the processing and marketing of agricultural products pursuant to the "De minimis scheme for the participation in exhibitions and fairs that take place on the internal market and third countries"


The Ministry of Energy, Commerce, Industry and Tourism announces the commencement from 30/6/2013 of the period for submission of applications within the framework of the “DE MINIMIS Scheme addressed to small & medium sized enterprises (SMEs) and organisations involved in the processing and marketing of agricultural products, for their participation in competitions, exhibitions and fairs that take place on the Internal Market and in Third Countries”. The submission period starts on the 30/6/2014 and provides for participation in competitions, exhibitions and fairs which will be implemented in the period 1/7/2014-31/12/2014.

Beneficiaries are legal entities (SME΄s-companies, Associations and Groups/Organizations/Producer Associations) involved in the processing and/or marketing of agricultural products. Agricultural products are those listed in Annex I, Article 32 of the Treaty (EC), with the exception of the fishery and aquaculture products covered by the Regulation (EC) No 104/2000.

Applications forms may be obtained from the Section for the Promotion of Agricultural Products of the Ministry of Energy, Commerce, Industry and Tourism, and from the website www.mcit.gov.cy/ts. The application forms may be submitted via the registered mail or by hand to the following mailing address:
