State aid scheme for the promotion and advertising of agricultural products on the internal market and in third countries

The Ministry of Energy, Commerce, Industry and Tourism announces the commencement from 16.6.2014 of the period for submission of applications for promotional and marketing measures for agricultural products, within the framework of the “State Aid Scheme for the Promotion and Advertising of Agricultural Products on the Internal Market and in Third Countries”. The submission period starts on the 16/6/2014 and provides for promotional and marketing measures which will be implemented in the period 16/6/2014 - 31/12/2014.

The beneficiaries of the state aid for the promotion measures (i.e. participation in exhibitions and fairs) are SMEs, recognised producer groups/organisations and producer associations involved in the production of agricultural products, whereas for advertising and marketing campaigns the beneficiaries are representative of the sector/products, producer groups/organisations/associations and other Associations involved in the production, processing and marketing of agricultural products. Agricultural products are those listed in Annex I, Article 32 of the Treaty (EC), with the exception of the fishery and aquaculture products covered by the Regulation (EC) No 104/2000.
